Levante and Betis are fighting for different goals this season. The host has with a long series of games without defeat fell to the edge of the relegation zone and is clear that they will fight for survival by the end of this season. Betis is playing changeable and they are recording victories and defeats, but they are still close enough to European positions and have the right to hope that they will qualify for Europa League. Betis Sevilla

Betis continues with victories and defeats and no series lasts longer than two rounds. Lately they have mostly celebrated twice, and after two triumphs in a row, they lost again in the last round, but their opponent was the current champion Real Madrid, so they had a justification, even though they played at home. They provided a good resistance to Real in the first half after which they had the lead with 2-1, but they dropped in the second half and in the end it was 5-3 for the guests.

It was the fourth match this season where they received five or more goals, and with exactly 50 received goals they have one of the weakest defences in the league. They do not want to continue the trend of the results in the series by two, because that means they should lose the match in which they are still slight favourites. Barragan has replaced Francis in the last round, while center-back Feddal is still out of action.
