Ajax has already passed two obstacles in the qualifications of the Champions League. It should be add that it relatively easy outplayed Austrian Sturm and Belgian Standard as it lost none of those matches. One of victories was again against Shakhtar, which was won 1-0 at home and for the time being Dynamo is the only team with the perfect score, although it played one match fewer than most of other teams.

Dynamo defeated Oleksandriya on Saturday, team that was also undefeated before the match and that was the fifth time they won by 1-0, including the Super Cup. Dynamo is not particularly efficient, although in two matches with Slavia Prague in the third qualifying round of the Champions League all this looked a bit more different. They had a lead in Preague till the very finish but the match ended as draw 1-1, while in Kyiv Dynamo won 2-0. The team was rejuvenated and right now its best player is Slovenian Verbic, while out of newcomers midfielder Tche Tche could have his debut.

Dynamo is in a bit better shape at the beginning of season but Ajax played well qualifiers for the Champions League, which is why we are going to play on it in the 1st leg, if for nothing else than because of the home-field advantage.
